450g Mortons Soda Bread Flour
120g sharp Cheddar, grated
1 fresh jalapeño, deseeded and thinly sliced (leave the seeds in for extra heat)
- Preheat the oven to 200˚C/180˚C fan/gas mark 6.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, Cheddar and chopped jalapeñ Stir quickly and lightly into a soft dough.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to about 2cm thick. Use your hands to shape into a round.
- Bake for 35 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
